I saw this completely black dog the other day with a single white spot on its foot, not unlike this:

So, there it is. "Spotted" - exactly once.

This weekend, I ran my first road race. I am not at all speedy, but did better than I expected. Five WHOLE miles. That's, like, a lot, right?

Anyway, according to my friend Sherry, my "running face" (everyone's got one, and it often ain't pretty) consists of half-closed eyes (like I'm half asleep)..a little something, I imagine, like this...

I'm all, "Feets don't fail me now!"
