Illustration Friday: "Simple"
Rather than draw something simple and elegant - god forbid! - I turned this concept into a set of instructions on how to do something ... wait for it ... simple. I don't know what the peanuts in panel 2 are so excited about. They look like they're tripping on acid. "Hooray! EAT US!"
This would be a great clip-and-saver for the less culinarily talented among us, don't you think?

Peanut butter and jelly is known as "choke and slide" to some tribes in east setauket. This is because you choke on the peanut butter and the jelly slides down, thus "choke and slide". Um, it's neat-o!
I think they are saying, "Yay! We're about to be smashed into a paste!"

The illustration is incredibal. I only wish I was as talented. The use of shading really makes it unique and your own. Also the emphasis on the edges is really good.
